Hardware vendor, BenQ, will open four offices next month to push its partner finance scheme. There will be one each in NSW, Victoria, Queensland and WA.
The company launched a finance program in August to rival HP, IBM and Dell. It allows authorised partners to extend leasing and rental facilities to end-users in the SMB, corporate and government sector for deals worth in excess of $1000.
General manger of BenQ Finance, Malcolm Colless, said the new offices would help build a more personal service for dealers.
The company would also bring on four new staff that would be stationed at these premises to help promote the program and add new dealers.
"In places such as Perth, if you want that type of business, you need to have a presence and that is what will separate us from the pack," he said.
Dealers that adopt the financing plan are offered an Express Rewards program, which is a point-based scheme based on the amount of each transaction. Bonus points would be rewarded on specific product purchases.
The company also had plans to launch a consumer financing plan late last year, but those have been delayed. Colless said BenQ hoped to get that leg of scheme underway by March. "The only issue with getting it out fast is making sure the product we deliver is readily accessible, competitive to our client base and offers simple rates that are cheap."
