Centennial ups channel ante

Software vendor appoints Matthew Lowe as its new channel manager

Asset discovery and security software vendor, Centennial Software, has appointed Matthew Lowe as its local channel manager.

Lowe said his initial focus would be on raising awareness in the channel about what Centennial's products could do for businesses.

"Centennial Software is a well-branded product worldwide, but managing the churn rate and getting across to new faces is important, as we are 100 per cent channel-based," he said.

Centennial has recently appointed a master distributor - Sanvu - for its DeviceWall security solution. Other Centennial products are distributed through key partners, and a three-tier reseller program that Lowe said would remain unchanged.

Microsoft partners would be aware of Centennial's Discovery software, an inventory and auditing solution that allowed companies to find and track IT assets - including licenses and usage, he said.

Previously, Lowe served six years as the business development manager for Banksia Software. He replaces Howard Waterson, who will focus on Centennial's Asian growth.
