HP picks up former Ingram Micro BDM to drive its DesignJet business

HP has appointed former Ingram Micro business development manager, Pankaj Gupta, to drive business development for its HP Designjet portfolio.

Gupta spent four years working for the broad-based distributor across the HP Designjet large format printer portfolio. He said his main goal in the new position was to work more closely with the HP Designjet Channel Partners and gain an even greater understanding of the opportunities for the large format sector in Australia and New Zealand.

"My vision for the channel is to continue to promote a positive environment that fosters a partnership philosophy. I look forward to the opportunity of meeting with as many of our partners as possible and holding open dialogue so we can work together to meet common goals," Gupta said.

HP Designjet distribute exclusively through Ingram Micro, who then represent HP's product offering into the many vertical interests of HP across Technical, PSP (Print Service Providers) and Creative markets.
