Local identity management provider, eB2Bcom, is anticipating a big 2008 after striking up a partnership with US access applications developer, Centrify.
Centrify provides Microsoft Active Directory-based auditing, access control and identity management solutions for non-Microsoft platforms.
eB2Bcom will supply the full range of solutions across Asia-Pacific.
eB2Bcom CEO, Bob White, said it had already installed the Centrify product to great effect at a University in Singapore and that the products fitted the company's focus on identity management solutions. eB2Bcom will market to Microsoft resellers and target systems integrators, and approach government customers directly.
"Regulations in the [Asia-Pacific] region are changing by osmosis to be compatible with the regulations in America and Europe," White said.
The company had invested in staff and training to provide support around Centrify's product suite, he said.
Target markets for Centrify's solution include education, businesses with a Mac-based environment, financial institutions with Linux platforms, and manufacturing and mining companies using Unix.
In a release, Centrify's director of worldwide channel development, Richard Weeks, said the company was impressed with eB2Bcom's skill set and experience around access management.
White said eB2Bcom planned to form a number of other significant partnerships this year. He identified SAP and US-based Ping Identity as targets.
