Content management system vendor, Komodo CMS, has revamped its partner program in a bid to build stronger ties with its channel.
The new Business Partner Program replaces the previous Endorsed Designer Program. Komodo CEO, David Warwick, said the new structure gave Komodo a more scaled and interactive partner program.
Key features include greater licensing options, more technical training, licensing discounts and sales and marketing support, he said.
The biggest change to the vendor's program was a development environment that allows partners to create and test their own components. Komodo partners with creative digital agencies, online media providers, website publishing and development houses.
Warwick said Komodo was also looking to recruit partners, first in Sydney and Melbourne, and would expand from there.
While it planned to support a limited number of partners in the long-term, there was no specific maximum set at this stage, he said.
"We're not looking for start-ups; our partners need to be solidly established, with history and credentials in online design. It's a subjective test, but generally we're looking for pre-existing companies with university educated technicians," Warwick said.
