Vodafone has revealed pricing for the Android-based Samsung Galaxy Tab, due out this month.
Vodafone is only selling the device through the Vodafone brand and not its 3 arm. It will be available on November 12.
The Galaxy Tab can be used as a smartphone and a tablet computer. The telco has suitably released voice calling plans as well as pure data plans for the device.
Voice plans on a 24-month contract start from $29 per month with $26 monthly device repayments. Users get 1.2GB data and $180 included voice value.
There are also 24-month mobile broadband plans available starting from $15 with $30 monthly device repayment costs. Users will receive 1.5GB of data.
A month-to-month option is available with an upfront cost of $999 for the tablet machine.
Optus started selling the Galaxy Tab on November 10. The device comes free on a 24-month $59.95 cap plan featuring 10GB on-peak or 20GB off peak data.
The telco has stated on-peak time between 12pm to 12am.
Access to email and social networking sites is free.
There are also business broadband plan options available for $55 per month with 2GB of data and around-the-clock technical support.
