Southern Cross Computer Systems adds new services practice

Governance, risk and compliance practice is based on new partnership with US-vendor Agiliance

Victoria-based [[xref:http://www.arnnet.com.au/tag/Southern Cross Computer Systems|Southern Cross Computer Systems has added a new governance, risk and compliance practice based on a new partnership with security and operational risk management vendor, Agiliance.

The vendor’s flagship product, RiskVision, is a scalable, purpose-built governance, risk and compliance (GRC) platform featuring plug-and-play applications for risk, policy, compliance, vendor, threat and incident management.

“We see this as a huge market opportunity in the Asia Pacific region and have invested significantly in this partnership, including a state-of-the-art lab,” Southern Cross managing director, Mark Kalmus, said.

Southern Cross principal consultant, Vasant Rao, will lead the new service offering. He previously worked for Agiliance in the US headquarters and lead its content development team.

Agiliance vice-president of worldwide sales and services, Michael Sayer, said knowledgeable, well connected and successful companies like Southern Cross, is the type of partners it is searching for.
