Computing, consumer electronics and communications provider, ViewSonic is expanding the home theatre experience with a range of three projectors - the Pro8200, PJD5523w, and PJD5123. - capable of creating 300-inch images.
The Pro8200 merges DLP and BrilliantColour technology to deliver full 1080p HD resolution, projecting at a 4000 to one contrast ratio at 2000 lumens. Targeted at home theatre enthusiasts, it contains the seven segment colour wheel, Pixelworks PW980 video processor for 10-bit colour processing, detail enhancement technology and motion adaptive de-interlacer.
The multi-purpose PJD5523w caters for home use, as well as small and medium business environments. The DLP projector also has BrilliantColor technology, producing images at a 3000-to-one contrast ratio at 2700 ANSI lumens for brightness.
It offers a 1280 x 800 WXGA 720p HD resolution with 1080p video support, and includes a HDMI port. Conveniently, it is three inches in height, and weights 2.5 kilograms.
The slim designed PJD5123 offers a SVGA 800x600 DLP projector which operates at 2700 ANSI lumens and a 3000 to one contrast ratio. It includes a 1.1x manual optical zoom, auto vertical keystone correction, and multiple PC and video input options. It does support HD video signal, and has integrated speakers.
The Pro8200 is available for $1899; PJD5523w for $1199; and PJD5123 for $849.
