Business execution software vendor, SuccessFactors, has launched its first datacentre in Sydney to service the Asia-Pacific market.
The company hopes to capitalise on the growing demand for Cloud services in the Asia-Pacific region and the new datacentre is part of the strategy to do so.
The facility will host SuccessFactors’ full Business Execution suite, BizX, and is Federal government panel certified. It has also attained ISO 27001 certification and has a gold rating for energy efficiency from the US Green Building Council.
“The new data centre opening comes at a perfect time as it is designed to meet the rapidly growing hosting demands of the Australian government and local businesses customers,” SuccessFactors vice-president of Asia-Pacific, said in a statement. “We have a very strong presence in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Brisbane, so many of our customers will find it helpful to have access to a data centre which offers premium support and optimal reliability in the country.”
The vendor looks to make Australia a Cloud computing hub for Asia-Pacific.
SuccessFactors is an SAP-owned company.
