Australian network equipment manufacturer NetComm Wireless has announced a strategic distribution agreement with Synnex in the US to deliver wireless Machine-to-Machine (M2M) devices to Verizon Wireless' sales channel, as well as its leading US resellers and system integrators.
NetComm Wireless' newly launched M2M CDMA Router (NWL-11) was recently cleared for exclusive use on the Verizon Wireless network, and is the first NetComm Wireless product to be offered through Synnex in the U.S.
Netcomm's new router connects remote assets and equipment to Verizon's high-speed network for real-time M2M monitoring and control in industries such as transportation, utilities, financial services, health, security and retail.
"Growing our M2M business in the U.S. is one of our key strategic priorities and our relationship with Synnex significantly strengthens our position and extends our reach across North America," said David Stewart, CEO and Managing Director, NetComm Wireless.
Synnex Global Mobility Solutions Unit vice-president, Adnon Dow, was happy with the new deal to help the Australian company crack the US market.
"Synnex has built strong market penetration across diverse vertical sectors, and by joining forces with NetComm Wireless our resellers can effectively meet the growing demand for open non-proprietary platform M2M technologies with the flexibility to support specific business functions such as energy management, temperature control, sea level monitoring, patient observation and asset tracking."
