Australian-owned SecuraLive AntiVirus presents channel with opportunities

Australian Anti-virus company, PCRange, has launched a major extension to its SecuraLive AntiVirus product range for Windows PCs, Macs and VPN protection.

SecuraLive AntiVirus will boast a new version of its scanning engine and an overhauled user interface in addition to a brand new VPN product and the launch of Mac versions.

According to PCRange CEO, Raaj Menon, this also presents the channel with many opportunities since its complete white label solution is available for Australian channel partners, enabling them to re-brand SecuraLive products (its business products include the AntiVirus, Internet Security, and Internet Gateway) with their own brand.

On an enterprise level, corporate and OEM partners will be able to access SecuraLive Web Classifications through an API, with both local Software Development Kit (SDK) and Cloud-based deployment options.

“There are three ways a reseller can offer the product – rebranding, where PCRange’s interface is used with another company’s logo; co-branding, where they can partner with someone and have both the company names on it; and white labelling, where they completely have their branding on it.”

“Australian customers love that SecuraLive is Australian-owned, not just another AV engine licensed from a US or European company. SecuraLive develops and owns its own AntiVirus engine,” he said.

Menon also said the solution’s got “strong overseas demand” from companies wanting to re-badge SecuraLive since it was launched in June last year. “We’re signing deals worth hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to white label SecuraLive.”

He added that the channel can expect the company to out a new range of products at the end of this year, including Cloud-based solutions that function similar to DropBox.
