Canon business services director, Gavin Gomes
Gavin Gomes has been appointed as the new director of Canon business services, and will also serve as the director of the Canon-owned Harbour IT.
In the new role, he will lead the B2B function of Canon and its business services that includes production printing and Canon Finance Australia.
Gomes said he will firstly focus on strengthening Canon’s technology and end-to-end managed services customer proposition for businesses in Australia.
Having held multiple senior executive leadership roles at IBM, Horizon's, HoneyComb Group, Procter & Gamble and Telstra, Gomes brings extensive experience to the new role.
Most recently, he was general manager of business and partner segment at Australia Post.
“I’m looking forward to leading an integrated team in Canon Australia’s business services at this exciting time. I am interested to find ways we can work with our channel partners to help streamline our customer’s business processes,” he said.
Canon managing director Oceania, Yusuke Mizoguchi, said he is delighted to welcome Gomes to the team.
“He brings a breadth of knowledge and experience in the B2B arena," he said. "A highly competent leader of sales and marketing teams, I am confident he will be an asset to our team and contribute to the dynamic culture of our organisation."
