White-label cloud service provider, Hosted Network, has hired former Nuix alliance manager, Aileen Paterson, as its new head of channel.

In operating as a white label cloud service provider (CSP), Hosted Network provides cloud on-boarding capabilities, including premium internet services, VoIP, Veeam backup and disaster recovery solutions and VMware powered IaaS and DaaS.

In the newly-created role, Paterson will lead the company's channel sales team and contribute to the strategic growth of the company.

The new appointment will also see Paterson responsible for developing and fostering relationships with key partners and expanding the network of channel partners to help drive revenue growth.

Paterson maintains more than 20 years experience across IT and telecommunications, previously holding various business development and channel management positions with companies such as Tech Pacific, AAPT, NEC Australia, Ingram Micro, McAfee and Nuix.

Prior to her role at Nuix, Paterson was with McAfee for almost four years, as national channel account manager.

Before McAfee, which also traded as Intel Security during her tenure, Paterson spent three years at Ingram Micro, where she held the role of Cisco business development manager.

From 2005 to 2009, Paterson was a channel account manager for NEC Australia, a role she held after doing time at AAPT as an account manager.

Given her professional history, Paterson is clearly no stranger to the local channel landscape, a factor Hosted Networks is banking on in its aim to bolster its partner play.

Hosted Network CEO, Ben Town, said Paterson’s experience aligns with its channel first strategy.

“With her appointment, we are looking to drive further success with our channel partners to win more business and further fuel the growth that we've been experiencing over the past few years,” Town said.

In December last year, Harris Technology chose Hosted Network to underpin a range of newly launched cloud solutions for small and medium businesses, based around servers, desktops and VoIP bundles.

“HT Cloud aligns well with their existing product portfolio and is a natural growth path for them that meets the demand for their client base,” Town said at the time.
