Managed services provider, Logicalis Group, has achieved Cisco Global Gold Certification, becoming one of just a handful of international organisations recognised with the status.

The company’s Australian arm, Thomas Duryea Logicalis (TDL), is one of three local integrators to now hold the certification.

In order to gain global gold recognition, Logicalis said it proved its depth of capability in supporting Cisco technologies and services, along with scale of delivery expertise globally. It also recognises its singular global approach to solutions, services and support.

TDL CEO, Michael Chanter, said it reinforces Logicalis’ global credentials across the Cisco portfolio.

“Locally, TDL joins the ranks of only two other integrators to achieve this level of Cisco expertise -- a clear reflection of our joint investment with Cisco, as well as the unique strategic and delivery capability we offer the Asia Pacific market,” Chanter said.

Logicalis Group CEO, Mark Rogers, said the top certification recognised its investments in team skills, solid business processes and its globally integrated operations.

The certification also extends Logicalis’ global services for digital enablement in hybrid IT, digital workplace, digital ready infrastructure and advisory, and managed services.

On top of this, the common services platform ensures consistent service management practices with regional shared services delivery, based on standard core ITIL processes.

The certification win comes roughly six months after the company revealed it had completed a round of internal restructuring, with the IT solutions provider streamlining business operations to create digital transformation and service delivery divisions.

Earlier this year, the company also revealed it was building a new business culture, seeking to hire new talent as it came towards the end of its restructure arising from the merger of Logicalis and Thomas Duryea, which was struck in 2015.

Along with a new name, Thomas Duryea Logicalis, the combined entity adopted a new go-to-market strategy, with plans to build out new practices, as well as recruiting additional sales professionals to grow the business rapidly.
