Dicker Data has been appointed as distributor for LG commercial display products in Australia, including TVs for commercial, healthcare and outdoor displays, alongside medical monitors and desktop monitors.

“I’m pleased to be announcing the expansion of our partnership with LG," Dicker Data chairman and CEO David Dicker said. "Commercial displays are a natural extension of business for many of our reseller partners and are a product that we’ve received strong demand for recently."

"Access to this range will also help us work with new types of partners who service markets that we’re actively attempting to expand our reach into.”

Dicker Data is now able to offer the full range of commercial display products as of 1 August.

“We’re delighted to be able to strengthen our partnership with Dicker Data and support their growth into new markets with our full range of commercial display products," added Luke Dixon, general manager for information display at LG Electronics Australia.

"We believe this expansion will be mutually beneficial, as Dicker Data’s strong reseller programme will benefit from access to our class-leading range of premium OLED and UHD displays, while enlarging our distribution footprint.”

The move comes days after Dicker Data was appointed one of four key NBN Co distributors.

In a blog post, NBN Co general manager of business channels, Keith Masterton, said since launching its channel program in April, the organisation has more than 300 ICT organisations on its books, with about 75 NBN business accredited advisers.

“Now we’ve taken the next step in evolving this important channel initiative with the appointment of four major technology distributors that will collaborate with NBN Co and work closely with our sales and marketing support teams to help ensure businesses can get the information they need to get the most out of the NBN access network,” Masterton said.

Dicker Data software general manager, Pennie Stevens, said the move will open up its partners to the opportunity to service their clients with their connectivity transition and drive further uptake of our cloud services.
