Ingram Micro has become the first Australian distributor for note-taking and organisation app Evernote, adding the vendor to its recently-revamped cloud marketplace.
The distribution giant now plans to hold online enablement sessions on the app for channel partners later in February.
“By bundling ease of procurement along with Ingram Micro’s growing suite of communication and collaboration solutions, we are making it easier for Ingram's partner network to help their customers be more productive and work collaboratively,” said Lee Welch, director of cloud services across Australia and New Zealand at Ingram Micro.
Originally launched in beta in 2008, Evernote allows users to capture notes, save images and web page clippings, and is claimed to be used by more than 225 million users.
“With deep integrations into Microsoft Office 365, DocuSign and more, Ingram Micro partners can cross-sell Evernote with their existing solutions,” added Craig Klemp, senior director of partnerships at Evernote.
“Using the Evernote business product, Ingram Micro cloud service providers are able find ways to improve productivity and manage the rising influx of data by enabling their customers to collect, organise, and share information securely across individuals and teams."
Last year, Ingram Micro updated its cloud marketplace, unifying previously counted as three control panels – transaction, administration and management – into one.
