ASX-listed Dubber Corporation is providing call recording and data capture services for Spark’s Cloud Phone service.

Dubber said it was providing the service through its partnership with Cisco company BroadSoft as part of the BroadCloud calling platform.

Spark’s Cloud Phone service combines landline and mobile communications into a single user experience.

Steve McGovern, CEO of Dubber, said Cloud Phone was a market leader and customers can now switch on call recording as-a-service immediately without the requirement for deployment processes or capital expenditure.

"This will add a valuable capability for all customers, whether as an immediate and affordable compliance tool or, for those customers who wish to take advantage of Artificial Intelligence opportunities for their business in the near term," he said.

Peter Vincent, home and business connectivity manager at Spark, said Spark’s Cloud Phone service is about giving our customers a feature-rich calling solution including collaboration tools and services to give their businesses an edge.

"Integrating the Dubber call recording platform into the service has been an obvious decision for us, as we continue to add world leading value-added services to the platform," he said.

Dubber reported sales revenue of $1.5 million (plus a similar amount in grants) for the year ended 30 June 2018 and a net loss of $11.3 million.

It raised A$22 million in April through a share placement to sophisticated investors and institutions, saying at the time that its technology had been adopted by 92 carriers in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific and was in deployment with 57 more.

Dubber had also recently inked a deal with IBM to market its service as part of a joint technology solution.
