Research now underway on the state of the A/NZ channel

In-depth findings to be delivered during EDGE 2019

Now is the time to make your voice heard about the state of the IT channel across Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) as part of an in-depth study.

You can take part in EDGE Research here, with findings set to be delivered at EDGE 2019 in Hamilton Island, the research aligns to the theme of Build and examines this year’s customer, partner and vendor priorities.

Carried out by boutique analyst firm Tech Research Asia, the research aims to lay out the building blocks for attainable future growth in the channel for both partners, vendors and consumers.

For partners, the findings will uncover the main priorities and tactics for achieving sustainable future growth, across gaining new customers, building brand awareness and differentiation.

Partners will also gain insights into what end-users are looking for from a vendor solution on both sides of the Tasman, as well as an understanding of what main attributes vendors are seeking when recruiting in the channel.

Likewise, the EDGE Research will compare partner answers against that of vendors and customers, providing an opportunity to benchmark whether the channel is on the same page in terms of value and investment priorities.

In particular, the research will examine where spending is currently focused on a technological perspective, across both current and emerging trends, plus cloud and application modernisation.

In addition, a New Zealand-specific research breakout will also be delivered during the opening session of EDGE 2019, available exclusively to Kiwi partners.

Collectively, this research will provide a clear picture of spending habits across A/NZ, offering in-depth insight into how the channel can be successful in the months and years ahead.

Build

Complementing the research will be a stellar line-up of speakers, with globally renowned trend-spotter Magnus Lindkvist delivering the opening keynote of EDGE 2019.

The Swedish analyst will share his vision of innovating for future growth, showing how the technology community can strengthen their brands and differentiate in an age of never-ending change.

Aligned to the theme of Build, the invite-only conference will address themes and issues ranging from the hunt for new customers, building brand awareness and true competitive differentiation during keynotes, business streams and structured networking.

Specifically, these building blocks for attainable future growth will outline how partners can:

  • Build a sustainable base of new customers
  • Build a viable marketing strategy
  • Build long-lasting unique IP
  • Build stronger internal practices
  • Build a deeper support ecosystem

In response to partner demand, EDGE 2019 will run from 28 July - 31 July, with this invite-only conference allowing partners to Connect; Learn and Collaborate amid a hand-picked delegation of business executives.

New Zealand partner delegates will arrive on 27 July, commencing the conference with a dedicated track featuring Kiwi research and insights.

In cutting through the market hype, EDGE Research will equip partners with the knowledge of future customer trends, and crucially, how to add new levels of value as the technology buyer evolves.
