Victoria-based Apple reseller, Designwyse, has launched a technical iPhone course.

The one-day course, claimed to be the first of its kind, has been designed for SMB and corporate-orientated IT professionals working with the new Apple iPhone and PCs.

It aims to provide individuals with the ability to set-up and deploy the phone across the enterprise environment, whether it’s a small business, enterprise or government customer. It offers an intense overview on how the iPhone sits in an organisation's network.

Marketing manager, Matthew Snowden, said there had been strong demand for the iPhone in the corporate market.

“We had a lot of feedback from major corporate customers that have implemented the iPhone, but there’s been a lot of general lack of understanding on how to deploy the iPhone into the Windows environment,” he said.

The first course starts on October 30 in Melbourne and will carry on through into early next year. The courses cost $975 per attendee.

“We’re going to take the course around Australia in January and February,” Snowden said.
