iseek joins NextDC and Pulse in Queensland Govt panel

Iseek has become the third company to join the Queensland Government ICT Supplier Panel for data centre-as-a-service (DCaaS).

The Brisbane-headquartered data centre provider joins Pulse DC and NextDC who were appointed earlier in the year.

Through the panel, iseek will be able to provide data centre services to Queensland Government departments, agencies and government-owned corporations.

"Iseek has been providing data centre services in Brisbane for over 15 years and communications services nationally for over 20 years," iseek CEO and managing director Jason Gomersall said.

"The appointment to the DCaaS panel presents a significant opportunity and validation of the high levels of customer service we have been providing to some of Queensland’s and Australia’s biggest companies for nearly 20 years."

Established in 1998, iseek is a cloud, data centre and connectivity provider with three data centres in Brisbane, plus one in Sydney and an upcoming one in Townsville.

The company announced in February it was expanding the capacity in Brisbane with a new 6MW facility built at its Eagle Farm campus, in Queensland. 

It also owns and operates a facility in Woolloongabba which has 1MW capacity, and a second in Eagle Farm, launched in 2010, with 4MW capacity.
