Sage appoints ERP GM to steer regional channel

Gary Katzeff brings more than 20 years of channel experience

Sage has appointed former MYOB executive Gary Katzeff to lead its enterprise resource planning division in Australia and New Zealand.

As part of a newly-created role, Katzeff will be responsible for leading the Sage ERP channel strategy alongside a team of 15 people and the vendor's distribution network.

He will report to Kerry Agiasotis, managing director and executive vice president of Asia Pacific at Sage.

On his appointment, Katzeff said he was looking forward to leading Sage’s ERP channel strategy. “I am passionate about transforming customers' businesses, achieving results and working with high-performing partners and teams,” he said.

“Having worked in start-ups, small and large businesses in leadership roles across sales, service, operations and finance I feel well equipped to drive success for Sage’s channel arm in Australia.”

Agiasotis added he could “think of no better person to help build momentum for Sage in the Australian market.”

“Gary’s experience and credentials in channel strategy and partner relations will help us to optimise results for our customers,” said Agiasotis.

Prior to his appointment with Sage ERP, Katzeff was at MYOB between August 2009 and July 2019, where he held a series of leadership roles, the most recent being as head of ERP sales and service for more than four years.

Before this, Katzeff held a number of other channel-related positions at NetReturn, MXL and was the owner of reseller business The Accolade Group, which was sold in 2007.
