    Fuji Xerox Printers recently held its product solutions forum at the Sydney Olympic Park. About 60 distributors and resellers attended the event, which saw the company unveil its new Smart Series print solutions and discuss the current state of the printing industry. The attendees also sat through workshops and networked over lunch.

    ARN's reseller-only event, Stay Ahead of the Game, was held in Perth on October 1 at the Aviary. Sponsored by Dicker Data, Microsoft, and Fujitsu, the event focused on partner know-how in virtualisation and Cloud services. The information sessions were accompanied by networking, drinks, canapes, and a live jazz band. An Xbox Kinect bundle was also given away.

    Channel marketing and communications company, TechnoPlanet, celebrated its Australian launch with an event in Sydney where it hosted a selection of vendors and resellers. The small-scale event, named VARTrends, focused on evaluating contemporary trends impacting local resellers (including VARs and MSPs), and the way in which these can capitalise as the IT landscape evolves.
