The final leg of Synnex Australia's Alliance Roadshow was hosted at Rosehill Gardens in Sydney. The showcase features a wide array of vendors within the distributor's arsenal, and a wealth of reseller guests. ARN was also invited to host its own booth at the event.

Synnex has opened the doors to its $45 million monster logistics centre with the help of visiting company chairman and director, Dr Matthew Miau, and Minister for Communications, Malcolm Turnbull. The fully-automated facility is located in Lidcombe, a Western Sydney suburb which has grown to become a commercial and industrial hub for major IT players. The centre will operate with Synnex three V philosophy - visibility, velocity, value - to bring vendor and reseller partners predictability. Photos inside the facility were not permitted.

A selection of snaps from Synnex's Alliance Print Conference 2013 which is currently touring Australia. These images are taken from the Perth leg, which was held at The Aviary. Alongside a sumptuous breakfast, attendees were treated to expert industry commentary concerning the emerging printer industry trends heading into 2014, followed by individual vendor breakout sessions, and invaluable formal networking.

Microsoft's annual Australian Partner Conference in Cairns featured a showfloor which housed several dozen vendor and distributor partners. More than 750 resellers in attendance were given the opportunity to interact with Microsoft technology and software across a selection of platforms.

IN PICTURES: Asus launches the Transformer AiO

Asus has launched its Transformer AiO (all-in-one) desktop PC, which runs on both Windows 8 and Android. As an 18.4-inch tablet, it can be used on both systems but when it is on dock, it runs on the Windows 8 platform. The desktop also connects to a monitor, creating a mirror reflection of the PC. It is available from retailer, Harvey Norman, and distributor, Synnex.

Broad-based distributor, Synnex, took a selection of its key vendor and reseller partners to the Melbourne Cup at Flemington Race Course this month. Attendees indulged in food and wine in a private marquee in the Winning Post enclosure, while placing their bets. Prizes were also up for grabs in the Synnex sweeps.
